Each PATRU piece is created through upcycling and reconstruction. Every garment is made from a mix of pre-existing items, often combining different fabrics, textures, weights, and finishes.

Because of this complexity, professional dry cleaning is strongly recommended. ◯

Home washing, soaking, or machine care can affect the structure, color balance, stitching, and fabric behavior of the piece. Even gentle cycles may lead to irreversible damage due to the interaction between different materials.

If you want your PATRU piece to last, age beautifully, and continue to bring you joy, dry cleaning is the safest and most responsible option.

EXCEPTIONS

Denim and shirts are the only exceptions in the PATRU collection. These pieces are designed to be cared for at home, provided basic garment care rules are followed.

Recommended home care for denim and shirts:

Wash inside out
Cold water only
Gentle
Mild detergent
Do not tumble dry
Air dry naturally
Iron on low temperature if needed

PATRU pieces are not mass-produced garments. They are unique objects with a past and a future.
Caring for them properly is part of the experience.
